Mont Joye glass was originally made by Cristallerie de La Villette, founded by E.S. Monot in 1850 outside of Paris. This line of glassware was popular at the height of the Art Nouveau period and known for its intricate red, purple and gold enameled designs.
A tall Mont Joye frosted glass vase dated to early 20th Century France. Purple and gold floral enameling detail the body while gold enamel accents the top.
